Moving On

Moving on/forward from this site, I encourage you to think critically about not only this musical and its source material, but also your role in it. How does your prior knowledge and experiences impact how you approach this musical? What themes of Sunday carry over into our conversations today? And most importantly, how can YOU use this information towards your work and performance!

ACTIVITY C: One of the most primal questions of dramaturgy is why this, why now? Why was this show created and why do we continue to do it? What were Lapine and Sondheim able to create with their musical that still resonates so much with us today? Take some time with your materials/script/ideas as well as the materials/questions/ideas I have presented and think on the why. Do you have any materials you found that you'd like to share or talk about? Please do! Reflect in your journal and share on the FORUM

Reminder: engage with this site, the materials on it, and participate in the activities to get the most out of all of these materials. Ask questions, share your research/resources, and keep track of what you discover so that we can have collaborative conversations together!
