Theresa Carpinelli (she/her) is a dramaturg, museum professional, and interdisciplinary theatre artist trained in direction, design, management, engagement, and performance born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. Deeply committed to collaborative, educational, cross-disciplinary, and funky artistic processes, Theresa has served as production dramaturg, new work dramaturg, audience engagement professional, and script reader at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Seven Devils New Play Foundry, Forbes Center for the Performing Arts, the JMU Studio Theatre, and in the greater Virginia community. She has been recognized and awarded for her dramaturgical work by the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and the Stratford Players.
